A Dyme in the rough

Hey everyone!

Monday is over and we're one day closer to the weekend! Aren't you guys excited? In preparation for the weekend, your girl got her nails done (trying to pretend that she actually has somewhere to go – LOL).

Last week I was contacted by Dyme beauty app and offered a treatment in exchange of a review on them. I gladly accepted.

Here is a breakdown of the process I followed to get my appointment booked:

Step 1: Download the app

It is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Search for: Dyme Beauty App

Step 2: Register

All you do is create an account for yourself and the app is ready to use

Step 3: Choose your treatments

They offer a wide range of treatments including nails, make-up, massages and lashes

Step 4: Check out

Once you have added all your treatments to your cart you can check out. This includes adding in your address, appointment time and choosing a therapist from a list of those available with your chosen date and time.

Step 5: Pay

Once all your details are in and you have added all your appointment information, you can choose to pay online or to pay in cash. There is also a box where you can input a promo code. (if you stay till the end, I might have one for you)

Step 6: Confirmation

Once you have finished checkout, selected a payment option and submitted, the app will close and you will receive an SMS with your appointment details

My experience:
I booked my appointment for 11:40 yesterday for gel nails, and my therapist was on time (good start). She was all smiles and super excited to be doing the treatment for me.

She set up all her things that she needed on the table and got to work. I wanted to test her creativity so I picked just two colours and told her she is welcome to do a set of nails that she designs by herself. She was super excited about me letting her do what she wants and started thinking about it while laying down the base gel.

Her application of the base products was done super well, she has really mastered a good foundation for gel nails. However, when it came to the nail art, I do think that she struggled a bit with freehand art. However we chatted about it and found a solution together and she fixed whatever I wasn't happy with, and I was super happy with the outcome.

I also really appreciated the fact that she constantly asked me if she was hurting me or filing too hard, and made an effort to chat with me.

I would give her 4/5 stars. She was excellent!

As for my Dyme Beauty App experience:
I think it's wonderful what they are doing. They are making it easy to have treatments done in the comfort of your own home, at your leisure. The app is quick, efficient and the service is excellent! I would give the app and the whole Dyme experience a solid 5/5. They are definitely on the right track when it comes to mobile beauty, and I see them getting bigger and better with each day that passes.

If you've made it to the end, thank you very much, and here's a small gift to say thank you!

I have a discount code for R150 off your next treatment. Simply input the code into the promo code box. Use code 'DYME150'. I do not earn any money from this code, it is purely for promotional purposes. This code will be valid for 3 months!

Even though this was a sponsored post, you can clearly see that all opinions are my own and are exactly what I experienced.

Thank you very much for reading, and let me know if you guys end up using the app. I would love to hear your experiences!
